Trivia: The movie consists of 2,212 shots and 160,000 single pictures, 2-3 times than usual, using 327 different colors (another record in animation film), 50 of which were exclusively created for the film. The reason for this statistic is that most of the movie takes place at night, a setting that is traditionally avoided by animators because of the increased color requirements.

Goofs: Continuity: Kai's socks appear to change color a number of times throughout the film, often from shot to shot within the same scene.

Trivia: The owner of ice hockey team Tampa Bay Lightning is Oren Koules, the producer of the Saw series. Lightning goalies Olie Kolzig and Mike Smith wore Saw themed masks for two weeks when the movie opened. The masks were then be auctioned off.

Goofs: Boom mic visible: In the scene when Jill (Betsy Russell) is talking to the FBI Agent in the Office, a huge boom shadow can be clearly seen above their heads
